What we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address when you sign up.
- Annotations. The strokes, notes, and project data you create. These reach our servers only when you turn on cloud sync for a project.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, and basic usage signals. We use these to keep the service secure, enforce rate limits, and fix bugs.
- Emails we send. Verification links, password resets, and service notices.
What stays on your device
Your video files and local project files live on your device and are never uploaded. Only annotations you choose to sync leave your machine.
How we use your information
We use it to run the service: sign you in, sync your projects, send emails you asked for, keep the service secure, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
Where your data lives
- Cloud storage. Cloudflare hosts our database and file storage.
- Email. Brevo sends verification and password-reset emails.
- Sign-in. Google, when you choose to sign in with Google.
Each provider gets only what its part of the service needs.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and cloud data until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your cloud copies. Turning off cloud sync removes the project from the cloud after a short grace period. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time. You can ask us to correct or remove information about you, or ask what we hold: support@framesketch.xyz. If you live in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
FrameSketch is not for children under 13, and not for anyone under 16 in the EU. We do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
