Cloud sync

Annotations only, always

Cloud sync is optional and, once you are signed in, on by default. Only your annotations are uploaded: strokes, shapes, text labels, notes, and comments. Your video files never leave your machine.

Your account, your projects

Everything syncs under your account. The projects you see in the cloud are yours alone. On a shared device, another account's annotations are never pushed to your cloud or shown in your list, and vice versa.

Plan limits

Free accounts can store up to 3 projects in the cloud. When a project is deleted, it is removed from the cloud and from your other synced devices; turning sync off for a project retires it from the cloud after a short grace period while your local copy stays.

Turning it on and off

Autosave and cloud save are separate switches in the app settings. You can turn cloud sync off any time, and everything you have drawn stays on your device, exactly as it was.

What happens on conflict

If the same project was edited on two devices before they could sync, FrameSketch asks how to merge before it overwrites anything. You choose which version to keep.
