Save, export and import
Autosave
Your work is written to local storage automatically as you draw, so you do not have to remember to save. The autosave switch in the app settings turns this off if you ever want to, but leaving it on is the safe choice.
Saving manually
The save button in the quick bar, or Ctrl+S, saves the current scene right away. Closing a scene or project also saves before it leaves.
Exporting
Export turns a project into a single .fsk file you can send to anyone. Two options:
- Plain export. One click and the file is saved.
- Password-protected export. Set a password, and the file only opens with it. Use this for client work you do not want opened casually.
Importing
Open an .fsk file from the welcome screen to bring a project back in. If the file is password-protected, you will be asked for the password before it opens.
