Workspace tour
Everything in the work area is arranged around one idea: the video stays in the middle, and the tools stay out of your way.
Menu bar
File, Edit, View, and Help menus at the top. File covers projects, scenes, save, export, and cloud sync. View toggles every panel. Help links to the online docs, shortcuts, your profile, and the about screen.
Quick bar
The row under the menu bar. One-click open, save, undo, and redo, plus the active tool properties: stroke color, size, opacity, and fill color for shapes.
Toolbar
All drawing tools, grouped by Select, Draw, Shapes, Annotate, and View. Drag it to any edge of the window or float it freely.
Layers panel
Your layers, stacked top to bottom. Add, remove, recolor, and fade them. It docks like the toolbar.
Viewport
The center stage. Your video with your drawings on top, exactly frame-aligned. Zoom with the Z tool, the wheel, or the status bar controls.
Timeline
One cell per frame at the bottom. Click to jump, drag to scrub or select a region, and use the transport controls to play.
Status bar
The thin strip at the very bottom: current frame, time, resolution, FPS, the open file, and zoom controls. Click the FPS readout to re-pace the project (common presets or a custom value) and preview how the motion looks at slower or faster frame rates.
Dockable panels
The toolbar and the layers panel can dock to any of the four window edges or float as free cards. Drag the grip at the top of a panel to move it. Floating panels have a button to snap back to the nearest edge, and docked panels have a button to float again. The layout survives restarts.
Toggling panels
The View menu turns each panel on and off: toolbar, layers, onion skin, timeline, and status bar. Keyboard shortcuts for everything live in Keyboard shortcuts.
App settings
The settings dialog in the File menu controls autosave and cloud save. Autosave keeps your work written locally as you go. Cloud save is a separate switch; see Cloud sync.
