Text, notes and comments

Text (T)

Pick the text tool and click anywhere on the viewport to drop a plain text label. It opens ready to type — the placeholder is selected, so your first keystroke replaces it. Text sits directly on the canvas with no frame. With the select tool, click a text label and the quick bar restyles it anytime: font family, size, weight, and color.

Sticky notes (N)

Pick the sticky note tool and click anywhere on the viewport to drop a note. Type right away, then click away to finish. Double-click any note to edit it again. Notes belong to the frame you placed them on, so they move with your review as you step through the shot.

Comments (C)

The comment tool works the same way but reads as a threaded remark rather than a note to self. Use it when something is aimed at a director or a teammate: the wording keeps the reply obvious in review.

Annotations are part of the project

Text labels, notes, and comments are stored with your annotations and travel with the project file. Export the project and they come along, so a review keeps its context wherever it goes.
